As a senior portfolio manager in the Wealth Management Group of First Bank, Carla works with individual clients, families, and charitable foundations as an investment advisor for their trusts/investment management accounts. She also provides businesses with investment management services and educational programs for their employee benefit plans.

Over the course of her 30 years' experience in financial services, Carla has worked with financial advisors as a fixed income and equity trader at Edward Jones, and has directed wealth management and advisory practice management for 900 financial advisors in the Southeast region for Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.

Carla was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She has lived in London, Phoenix, and Houston, but always seems to be drawn back to St. Louis. She holds a B.A. in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from Washington University. Carla is proud to serve on the boards of College Bound and Marian Middle School, St. Louis organizations focused on breaking the cycle of poverty through education.
